Matt Helders

Matt Helders is an English musician, best known as the drummer for the Arctic Monkeys, a band that has significantly influenced the indie rock and post-punk revival genres. Born on April 7, 1986, in Sheffield, England, Helders co-founded the band in 2002 alongside frontman Alex Turner, guitarist Jamie Cook, and bassist Andy Nicholson.
